The Concentration Grid app is based on the mental focus grid exercise. Mental focus grids have long been used as a tool by coaches and sports performance/psychology professionals to assess and improve the performance of their athletes.

The objective of the grid exercise is to select, in sequence, each of the numbers (randomly arranged and presented) in the grid. Performance is timed, and the challenge is to complete the grid as quickly as possible. This exercise requires focus and concentration.

The grid exercise has been a favorite of many baseball/softball coaches and players for a long time, typically using paper sheets, a pen, and a stopwatch.

Coaches, sports performance staff, and athletes can now conduct their mental skills training with the convenience of the Concentration Grid app on their mobile device.

The Concentration Grid app aims to provide a competitive challenge as well as a fun and straightforward experience, similar to the traditional paper grid exercise but more convenient.

With the Concentration Grid app, users can vary the level and nature of the challenge by adjusting the size of the grid—based on the number of rows and columns selected for the grid.

Challenge yourself with grids ranging from sizes like 3x14 to 14x14. Opt for smaller grids to test dexterity and quick vision while larger ones will challenge your ability to sustain focus and concentration.

Track and measure your progress through practice using the Concentration Grid app. Compare your best times against benchmarks or others on the community website www.concentrationgrid.net.

The app provides your grid time (elapsed time) and a GRID ID data set indicating your performance details. It also stores your history/file for you to monitor improvement over time.
